Life Adventure Network
The Life Adventure Network (LAN) is the only national alliance of men's outdoor/adventure ministries. It exists to facilitate the flow of all that is essential to any on-going, vibrant ministry to men and their families: communication, training, networking, sharing of resources, etc are all part of the purpose of LAN.
The purpose of Life Adventure Network is to form a confederation of all like-minded ministries that will ultimately create a seamless network of Christian adventure base camps, retreats, counseling, adventure trips, so that any man needing to establish, restore or renew his relationship with Jesus Christ can be directed to an appropriate discipling venue.
In addition, LAN seeks to provide ministries the opportunity to collaborate ,share information, and encourage each other so that no ministry must fight the battle alone. Just as men do not need to be separated from the body of Christ, Ministries also do not need to fall into the trap of standing as an "island". LAN, once completely up and running, will serve its membership through joint meetings and planned adventures, adventure training, "Bands of Brothers " formation, newsletters, email updates, web page referrals, etc.
LAN can also serve the local church by putting them directly into contact with ministries in their region.
We are still in the formative stages, trying to identify out potential network partners. So if you are either involved in a men's outdoor/adventure-related ministry, if you know of someone who is, or if you are just interested or would like to support us through donations of land or monies for base camps etc please let us know by emailing us at our parent organization, info@newwildernessadventures.com.
